Introducing Aleesa
Aleesa is a WordPress block theme for authors, writers, and personal book portfolios. Introduce your writing, your published work, and the voice behind it. Built with Full Site Editing (FSE) and Gutenverse, it gives you a visual starting point that you can adapt to your own brand.
Use Aleesa to build on this visual direction. Present your books or selected writing, share your background, and explain where readers can learn more about your work. Replace sample titles, excerpts, and links with your own publication information. Customize the typography, colors, imagery, and content in the WordPress block editor with Gutenverse, then replace the demo details with your own. This premium theme requires Gutenverse PRO and an eligible license for the selected template. The current theme requirements list WordPress 7.0.0 and Gutenverse 3.0.6.
Who This Theme Is For
Aleesa is designed for authors, writers and personal book portfolios. Choose it to introduce an author and give readers a place to explore their books. This PRO edition suits teams choosing a premium design built with Gutenverse PRO and an eligible template license.
Pages and Layouts
Aleesa includes layouts for Event, Contact, Blog, FAQ, Book Detail, Book, About, and Home, giving you a starting point to introduce an author and give readers a place to explore their books. Use the Event layout to introduce productions or events and provide practical visitor information. Use the Book Detail layout to introduce publications and share information for readers.
Supporting layouts help you organise information for different visitor needs. Use the article layouts to share updates, useful insights, or stories relevant to your audience. The FAQ or help layout gives you space to answer common questions before visitors get in touch. Use the contact layout to present your contact details and explain how enquiries are handled. Replace the sample content with your own and customise the typography, colours, images, and spacing through the WordPress block editor with Gutenverse PRO.
Things to Know
A quick overview of the demo content, requirements, customization options, and other details to help you get the most from your setup.
What’s Included in the Import?
Aleesa includes page-import files containing block layouts, sample text and demo image references. Importing a selected layout adds that sample content; image downloads depend on the referenced files being available.
For the design overview, see Pages and Layouts. A menu definition is included; review the imported links and assign your navigation after import. The theme supplies its style defaults; importing content does not configure your own logo, contact details or connected services.
Requirements & License
Use Aleesa with WordPress and activate Gutenverse, Gutenverse Form and Gutenverse Companion. Access to this premium design requires an eligible Gutenverse account and license for the selected theme.
See Theme Information for the version requirements and, where applicable, eligible plans. Gutenverse Companion supplies this theme’s extensions and import workflow. Gutenverse Form provides the form blocks used by this design.
Editing & Customisation
Edit Aleesa’s site templates and shared header/footer through Appearance → Editor. Edit the imported page content in the WordPress block editor, then select individual Gutenverse blocks to change their text, imagery, spacing and responsive settings.
Update navigation labels and destinations after creating your own pages, configure form recipients and test a submission, adjust post-block queries to show your own articles, review popup content and triggers, set the map location for your business and replace video links with your own media. Keep the required theme extensions active when editing blocks supplied with this design.
Is Aleesa Right for Your Website?
Before choosing Aleesa, compare the preview with your own text lengths, image proportions and main call to action. Pay particular attention to its event and reader contact page designs when deciding whether to preserve the demo’s visual emphasis or adapt the structure to your content.
Use your own book covers, excerpts and publication details. Book sales, payment processing and reader mailing lists need a store or external service linked from the site.
