Introducing Echelon
Echelon is a free WordPress block theme for corporate businesses, company profiles, and consulting agencies that need a clear introduction to their services and team. Make your company expertise, services, and approach easy for prospective clients to understand. Built with Full Site Editing (FSE) and Gutenverse, it gives you a visual starting point that you can adapt to your own brand.
Use Echelon to build on this visual direction. Introduce your team, explain the problems you help clients address, and present relevant experience. Replace sample company information with your own service details and verifiable examples before publishing. Customize the typography, colors, imagery, and content in the WordPress block editor with Gutenverse, then replace the demo details with your own. This free theme works with the Gutenverse plugin; review the selected demo requirements before importing. The current theme requirements list WordPress 6.6 and Gutenverse 3.7.1.
Who This Theme Is For
Echelon is designed for corporate businesses, company profiles and consulting agencies. Choose it to introduce a company and explain its professional services. This free theme suits a first website built with the Gutenverse plugin, with a design you can adapt to your own content and brand.
Pages and Layouts
Echelon includes layouts for Home, About, Services, FAQ, Blog, Single Post, and Contact, giving you a starting point to introduce a company and explain its professional services. Use the Services layout to describe what you offer and organise information around visitor needs. Supporting layouts help you organise information for different visitor needs. Use the article layouts to share updates, useful insights, or stories relevant to your audience. The FAQ or help layout gives you space to answer common questions before visitors get in touch. Use the contact layout to present your contact details and explain how enquiries are handled. Replace the sample content with your own and customise the typography, colours, images, and spacing through the WordPress block editor with the free Gutenverse plugin.
Things to Know
A quick overview of the demo content, requirements, customization options, and other details to help you get the most from your setup.
What’s Included in the Import?
The available page-import files for Echelon contain block content with sample text and demo image references. Importing the selected content adds those blocks; referenced images must be available for the image import to complete. For the design overview, see Pages and Layouts. A separate menu-import file was not found in the checked archive; review or create your navigation in WordPress. Confirm which settings the importer offers, then configure your logo, contact details and connected services.
Requirements & License
Use Echelon with WordPress and activate Gutenverse and Gutenverse Form. The included free design can be used without a paid Gutenverse license. Premium templates and PRO controls require a separate upgrade if you choose to add them. See Theme Information for the version requirements and, where applicable, eligible plans. Gutenverse Form provides the form blocks used by this design.
Editing & Customisation
Edit Echelon’s site templates and shared header/footer through Appearance → Editor. Edit the imported page content in the WordPress block editor, then select individual Gutenverse blocks to change their text, imagery, spacing and responsive settings. Update navigation labels and destinations after creating your own pages, configure form recipients and test a submission and adjust post-block queries to show your own articles. Review the site on desktop, tablet and mobile after replacing sample content, because text length and image proportions change the layout.
Is Echelon Right for Your Website?
Before choosing Echelon, compare the preview with your own text lengths, image proportions and main call to action. Pay particular attention to its business blog and FAQ page starting points when deciding whether to preserve the demo’s visual emphasis or adapt the structure to your content. Client portals, appointment scheduling and internal business workflows require separate tools. Prepare concise service information, credible case studies and a clear enquiry route.
