Spa & Beauty Salon WordPress Block Theme - Waterlava

Designed for spas, wellness centers, meditation studios and beauty salons.

Introducing Waterlava

Waterlava is a free WordPress block theme for spas, wellness centers, meditation studios, and beauty salons, with an elegant setting for your services and atmosphere. Introduce the atmosphere of your studio and make your treatment or beauty services easy to explore. Built with Full Site Editing (FSE) and Gutenverse, it gives you a visual starting point that you can adapt to your own brand.

Use Waterlava to build on this visual direction. Describe your services, share the approach behind your treatments, and introduce your team. Use your own studio photography, accurate service information, and clear appointment enquiry details to prepare your website. Customize the typography, colors, imagery, and content in the WordPress block editor with Gutenverse, then replace the demo details with your own. This free theme works with the Gutenverse plugin; review the selected demo requirements before importing. The current theme requirements list WordPress 6.6 and Gutenverse 3.7.1.

Who This Theme Is For

Waterlava is designed for spas, wellness centers, meditation studios and beauty salons. Choose it to introduce a spa's atmosphere and help visitors explore its services. This free theme suits a first website built with the Gutenverse plugin, with a design you can adapt to your own content and brand.

Pages and Layouts

Waterlava includes layouts for Home, Our Spa, Services, Pricing, FAQ, Blog, Single Blog, and Contact, giving you a starting point to introduce a spa's atmosphere and help visitors explore its services. Use the Our Spa layout to share your background, approach, and business identity. Use the Services layout to describe what you offer and organise information around visitor needs.

Supporting layouts help you organise information for different visitor needs. Use the article layouts to share updates, useful insights, or stories relevant to your audience. The FAQ or help layout gives you space to answer common questions before visitors get in touch. Use the contact layout to present your contact details and explain how enquiries are handled. Replace the sample content with your own and customise the typography, colours, images, and spacing through the WordPress block editor with the free Gutenverse plugin.

Things to Know

A quick overview of the demo content, requirements, customization options, and other details to help you get the most from your setup.

What’s Included in the Import?

The available page-import files for Waterlava contain block content with sample text and demo image references. Importing the selected content adds those blocks; referenced images must be available for the image import to complete.

For the design overview, see Pages and Layouts. A separate menu-import file was not found in the checked archive; review or create your navigation in WordPress. The theme supplies its style defaults; importing content does not configure your own logo, contact details or connected services.

Requirements & License

Use Waterlava with WordPress and activate Gutenverse and Gutenverse Form. The included free design can be used without a paid Gutenverse license. Premium templates and PRO controls require a separate upgrade if you choose to add them.

See Theme Information for the version requirements and, where applicable, eligible plans. Gutenverse Form provides the form blocks used by this design.

Editing & Customisation

Edit Waterlava’s site templates and shared header/footer through Appearance → Editor. Edit the imported page content in the WordPress block editor, then select individual Gutenverse blocks to change their text, imagery, spacing and responsive settings.

Update navigation labels and destinations after creating your own pages, configure form recipients and test a submission, adjust post-block queries to show your own articles and set the map location for your business. Review the site on desktop, tablet and mobile after replacing sample content, because text length and image proportions change the layout.

Is Waterlava Right for Your Website?

Before choosing Waterlava, compare the preview with your own text lengths, image proportions and main call to action. Pay particular attention to its team and appointment enquiry content when deciding whether to preserve the demo’s visual emphasis or adapt the structure to your content.

Confirmed appointments, staff availability and treatment payments need a booking service. Use the theme to explain treatments and connect enquiries to your actual process.
